Recital: Quasi una fantasia

The program explores the grey area between composition and improvisation.

Works written especially for David by Christopher Cerrone, Anthony Cheung, Andrea Casarrubios are interspersed with Louis Couperin, Ligeti, Beethoven, Saariaho, Brahms, and Schumann, all connected by improvised preludes and transitions.
